Micro–computed Tomographic Assessment of Supplementary Cleaning Techniques for Removing Bioceramic Sealerand Gutta-percha in Oval Canals
ABSTRACT:
Cleaning with the XPR instrument was more effective in removing residual Bio-C sealer and gutta-percha from oval canals than the other supplementary techniques tested. None of the techniques completely removed the residual root canal filling material.

Guided Endodontics in Complex Scenarios of Calcified Molars
ABSTRACT:
The use of guided endodontics in cases of calcification in molars was demonstrated to be a viable and reliable alternative treatment. The technique was based on 3D planning. Clinical case.

Complete healing of a large periapical lesion following conservative root canal treatment in association with photodynamic therapy: a case report with 5th-year follow-up
ABSTRACT:
the addition of photodynamic therapy to conventional endodontic treatment can increase the reduction of microbial load in the endodontic space and the long-term success rate in non-surgical treatment of large periapical cysts.

Flow, Filling Ability and Apical Extrusion of New Calcium Silicate-Based Sealers: A Micro-Computed Tomographic Study
ABSTRACT:
Bio-C Sealer and Sealer Plus BC had greater flow and proper filling ability in the apical third. However, these sealers presented high volume of apical extrusion. NeoMTA Plus provided less sealer extrusion, low flow, and more presence of voids.

Determining the setting of root canal sealers using an in vivo animal experimental model
ABSTRACT:
AH Plus and BioC Sealer set under both in vitro and in vivo test conditions. TotalFill BC Sealer did not set under in vitro conditions but did after 1 week under in vivo conditions. Sealapex did not set under either in vitro or in vivo conditions.

The importance of bioceramics and computed tomography in the late clinical management of a horizontal root fracture: A case report
ABSTRACT:
Pulp necrosis was diagnosed and CBTC was requested for treatment planning. Subsequently, endodontic treatment was performed using a bioceramic apical plug. A 2-year follow-up indicated the absence of root resorption and normal periodontal and periapical tissues. It was concluded that endodontic treatment associated with the use of bioceramics and the aid of CBTC is an effective therapeutic option in cases of permanent horizontal root fractures.

Influence of bioceramic intracanal medication on the bond strength of bioceramic root canal sealer
RESUMO:
The conclusion reached by the present study was that intracanal medication based on bioceramic compounds chemically interacted with the bioceramic based root canal sealer to form a biomineralizing layer, which allowed for an increase in the bond strength and formation of an adhesive interface between the materials, with no or less gap formation.
