Organic Community Garden
To promote healthier eating, why not start from scratch?
This greenhouse-building project uses the composted substrate from the Angelus cafeteria to provide seedlings to nurseries in the surrounding community so that they can perform cultivation activities with their students, as well as to encourage Angelus employees to grow their own vegetables.
The vegetable garden also addresses several sustainable development goals, including food (SDGs 1 and 2), health (SDG 3), consumption (SDGs 11, 12, and 13), inequalities reduction (SDG 10) and partnerships (SDG 17).
Corporate Education
Angelus believes that employee education is fundamental to people's good health and well-being (SDG 3), as well as to ensuring sustainable production and consumption patterns (SDG 12).
Activities include changing habits, such as using ceramic mugs instead of plastic cups, as well as ongoing learning, such as Environmental Social Governance (ESG) training for PAS leaders.
Nursery School
We have adopted a philanthropic nursery school in the community where Angelus is located, and we are collaborating with our employees to plan campaigns to meet the students' specific needs.
All actions in this project are inspired by sustainable development objectives:
- SDG 1: Eradicate poverty: end poverty in all its forms, everywhere.
- SDG 2: Zero Hunger and Sustainable Agriculture aims to eliminate hunger, achieve food security and nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture.
- SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being: Ensure a healthy lifestyle and promote well-being for all people, regardless of age.
- SDG 4: Quality education: Ensure inclusive, equitable, and high-quality education, as well as promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
