– Security: After initial assessment, in case of approval, an agreement between the parties must be signed so that Angelus knows the details of the idea. The NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) protects you in any situation, giving you the legal protection you need. This means that even if Angelus will not develop the idea with you, it will not be done independently either
– Financial Return: If the idea is patentable and the company decides to put it on the market, the parties will sign a contract to formalize the payment of royalties, which is around 1 to 5%, for the current period of the patent (15 to 20 years). In case the idea is not patentable and the company decides to put it on the market, the same dynamics follow as above, but the period of validity of the royalty payment is 5 years. The value of the financial return is very relative, as an extremely innovative product with a patent and excellent marketing work can bring a good result for the inventor, however, it depends on each case.
