Sterilize the Speed syringe (autoclave from 121°C to 127°C (at 1 atm pressure) for 15 to 30 minutes or from 269,6 °F to 273,2 °F (at 2 atm pressure) for 4 to 7 minutes of sterilization).

Speed applicator tips are autoclavable?

No, Speed applicator tips should be disinfected with 70% alcohol.

Why are there different tips?

The Speed system has 3 types of tips: high-flow, low-flow and with needle, allowing for greater versatility in the use of the product with different types of dental materials.

Are Speed tips single use? Is it possible to buy a refill just for the tips?

Yes, Speed tips are for single use only. It is possible to buy only their refill in the presentations:

• 8185 – Pack containing 10 high-flow Speed Tips (refill).
• 8188 – Pack containing 10 low-flow Speed Tips (refill).
• 8191 – Pack containing 10 Speed tips with needle (refill).

What is the indication of each tip?

• Tip with needle: suitable for high-flow materials such as light body impression silicones to prevent bubble formation.
• Low-flow tip: suitable for viscous and dense materials, such as heavy temporary cements and composites for building cores.
• High-flow tip: suitable for the use of moderately fluid materials in posterior teeth, such as fluid provisional cements and composites for building cores.

What is the diameter of each tip?

• Tip with needle: 0,90mm
• Low-flow tip: 2,83mm
• High-flow tip: 1,22mm
