APPLICATION TECHNIQUE
Choose the post based on the template and periapical radiograph of the tooth.
Remove a portion of the canal filling, leaving at least 3 to 5 mm at the root apex. Prepare the canal with a Largo drill that matches the diameter of the chosen post.
Position the post to ensure a proper fit. Cut at high speed with a diamond drill while refrigerated.
Clean the post with alcohol and allow to dry. Apply a coat of silane (SILANO ANGELUS ®) and leave to dry for 1 minute. Apply the adhesive (if applicable) according to the cement manufacturer's instructions.
Rinse the canal with water jets before drying with air and absorbent paper tips. If necessary, condition the canal with ANGELUS® 37% PHOSPHORIC ACID for 15 seconds.
Rinse and dry the canal using air and absorbent paper tips.
Apply the adhesive (if applicable) according to the cement's directions for use. Apply the cement and light-cure.
Construct the filling core.

The parallel-sided shape of Reforpost favors its mechanical interlocking with the root canal walls. Its conical tip allows less tooth preparation at the apical third, saving dentin in this area.

Its thinner diameter and, consequently, less fiber, could render Reforpost 1 more fragile. So its middle part is smooth, thicker and stronger.
For the cementation of glass fiber posts, self (chemically)-cured only resin cements are the best recommendation.
Yes, the post can be autoclaved up to two times. More than two times may compromise the material's strength.
